After a successful and snowy edition of the Kaiser Maximilian Lauf in Seefeld, we are already looking forward to 2018! Choose from either 60km and 30km in classic technique on Saturday January 13th or 60km and 30km in skating technique on Sunday January 14th. The 60km follows the sames course as 2017 with both start and finish in the new World Championship Arena in Seefeld. The course goes through a spectacular scenery from Mösern, Wildmoos, Buchen and Leutasch before heading back to Seefeld. The 30km course starts in Leutasch and follows the second half of the 60km course to Seefeld. Bus transportation from Seefeld to the start in Leutasch is included in the registration fee.

The 60km classic race is also part of Visma Ski Classics, the long distance ski championship consisting of the 13 most prestigious events.

Seefeld has a well known history hosting international events. The cross-country competitions during the Olympic Games both in 1964 and 1976, the Nordic World Championships in 1933 and 1985 and will also host the Nordic World Championships in 2019.
